One of ours partners, MCCL Group proudly announced the addition of M/V SEA CARYATIS, a Panama-flagged PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier), to its fleet. The vessel, measuring 162.49 meters in length and with a capacity to transport approximately 2,250 vehicles, reflects MCCL’s strategy to focus on medium-sized ships in response to current market conditions and customer demand.
This acquisition strengthens MCCL’s ability to meet the needs of major car manufacturers and support transshipment operations across the Mediterranean Sea and Europe. The company’s medium-sized fleet is known for its operational flexibility and dedication to delivering vehicles “on time and damage-free.”
As part of MCCL’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, M/V SEA CARYATIS underwent significant upgrades at Perama, incorporating new technologies that reduce CO2 emissions both at port and during sailing. These enhancements align with MCCL’s environmentally friendly operational goals, ensuring the vessel contributes to a reduced ecological footprint.
The addition of M/V SEA CARYATIS underscores MCCL’s dedication to expanding its fleet while maintaining high standards of service and environmental responsibility.
